BACKGROUND of BARANGAY
Barangay East Modern Site is a prominent residential community located in Baguio City, within the Cordillera Administrative Region. Situated along P. Ledesma Street, the barangay forms an integral part of Baguio’s urban landscape and is composed of a diverse population of families and individuals who contribute to the city’s rich cultural and social identity. Its strategic location provides residents with convenient access to essential schools, commercial establishments, and public services, making it an active and well-connected community within the northeastern district. A defining landmark of the barangay is the remarkable Immaculate Conception Parish Church. Serving as a prominent spiritual and social center, the parish acts as the heartbeat of the community, where residents gather for worship, religious festivities, and social programs. This landmark not only reinforces a sense of unity and "Bayanihan" spirit among the people but also provides a distinct sense of heritage and place within the Aurora Hill area. Over the years, East Modern Site has continuously worked to strengthen its local governance, improve public service delivery, and promote active community participation. Through the steady collaboration of barangay officials, community leaders, and residents, the barangay strives to maintain peace, order, and sustainable development. By balancing modern urban growth with the preservation of core values like cooperation and faith, East Modern Site remains a vital and harmonious residential haven in the "Summer Capital of the Philippines."
